Getting Beyond Celiac Disease
What do you do when your organization’s name is mistaken for a competitor’s name on a daily basis, people often forget the name altogether, AND, despite the first two challenges, the name no longer accurately reflects what your organization stands for today?
You change the name.
And so did the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA).
We joined the effort to help the NFCA find a new name that was more unique, memorable and meaningful to a variety of stakeholders, including people with Celiac disease, their families and friends, doctors, researchers, partner organizations and more.
Our task was to communicate several concepts all at once — like going beyond building awareness to truly engaging those who have Celiac disease and speaking to the organization’s passion and positive outlook on helping people overcome such a challenging disease.
That’s exactly what “Beyond Celiac,” the organization’s new name, stands for.
With this simpler, more memorable and expansive moniker, the organization is primed to deliver on its mission of advancing the understanding of Celiac disease, empowering the community to live life to the fullest, and serving as a leading resource that inspires hope, accelerates innovation and forges pathways to a cure. All in two words — Beyond Celiac.
